Awards, Ratings and ReviewsGold Medal, 2009 Pacific Rim Wine CompetitionFinalist, 2009 Pacific Coast Oyster Wine Competition Winemaker's Tasting NotesThe northern slopes of our estate vineyards provide relief from the summer heat and a haven for Albariño. This wine exhibits a floral bouquet and lovely aromas of citrus, pear, yellow stone fruits and honey. The bright acidity and round texture fold into a crisp dry finish with distinct minerality. We recommend drinking this wine within 3 years - earlier if you seek crispness, later if you prefer greater complexity. True, oysters on the half shell are a beautiful pairing, but this wine also embraces any fresh seafood entrée.Technical NotesFruit Source: Abacela’s Fault Line Vineyards, Umpqua ValleyAppellation: Southern Oregon Harvest Date: 28 September; 10, 11, 12 October 2008At harvest: Sugar; 22.3° brix pH; 3.26 TA; 8.06 grams/liter Cooperage: Stainless Steel At bottling: Sugar; Nil Bottling date: 17 February 2009Case Production: 1106 (750 mL)Alcohol: 13.3% by volumeRelease Date: 1 April 2009
